Just had a couple of back to back visits to the Caravan Club sites at The Firs near Belper in Derbyshire and Scarborough.
The Firs is a lovely site but pay heed to the approach directions in the site description or you could find yourself in a sticky situation.
For the first time I had to jack up the van to get the wheel lock on as some of the pitches are rather short.
There are some stunning views up the Derwent Valley from the site and Kedleston Hall ( National Trust ) is well worth a visit.
The Cadiz was faultless in fact the only problem was that two bolts sheared on the tailgate of the Passat, fortunately it was still useable so it's off to the dealers in a couple of weeks.
On to Scarborough which of course was very busy at this time of year, once again no complaints but the toilet blocks whilst clean are looking a bit tired.
The Cadiz stood up well to the battering from two grandchildren.
Met a couple of fellow Cadiz owners on the sites so welcome to them if they are now regular readers.
I really must get some cards printed to hand out on such occasions.
